The 2009 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Sofapaka are set to face off with Nairobi City Stars on Saturday 18 August at Hope Centre and have been struck by another setback after the earlier suspension of the captain, James Situma.
The team’s midfielder Collins Gattuso Okoth will not feature in the 1600hrs kickoff as he is out with a toothache.
Painful
The player had a minor surgery to remove the tooth but he says it is still painful and he is not in a position to feature in the game.
-I am not feeling well and giving myself hope that I can feature in the game will be pushing my luck. I had the tooth removed but it seems something went wrong because I am still feeling the pain. I was really prepared for the game but now I can only wish my team mates the best, he told futaa.com.
