The 2009 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Sofapaka are leaving nothing to chance as they prepare for their Monday 13 August encounter with Gor Mahia.
According to the club’s president Elly Kalekwa, everyone at the club is committed to ensuring the team prepares well for the tie as he admits such are the matches which shape a team’s campaign.
-Since we are now finding our rhythm back I want to see to it that the players are in great shape for the Gor Mahia encounter, we are all committed to play our varying roles and everyone knows Gor Mahia’s is always a big game that needs good preparation.
Make or break
-It is the kind of game that could make or break your season so we are committed to seeing that it doesn’t break our season. We also hope to continue with the fine run we have shown in the last two matches, he told futaa.com.
Sofapaka will also be looking to get a measure of revenge in the match since Gor Mahia emerged winners in the first leg encounter between the two sides.
