On Wednesday 12 September the Kenyan football fans will be treated to another 90 minutes of entertainment as the reigning Tusker Premier League (TPL) champions Tusker FC pays Sofapaka a visit at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Preparing for a win
Sofapaka, on the back of a big win over Tanzanian champions Simba SC in a friendly match last week, say they are preparing for a win in the game that could have far reaching repercussions as far as the title chase is concerned.
According to team manager Jacques Roberto, the team is in fine shape and barring a setback they will be carrying an injury free team to the encounter.
-We are preparing well for the game both physically and mentally and I believe that we will win that match. If all goes well in training in the next two days then we will have a fully fit team in the game, he told futaa.com.
Tusker has failed to score in their last two league matches and will also be going in the game looking for a first ever win over the 2009 champions.
