Sofapaka beat Nairobi Provincial League (NPL) side FISA 2-0 in a build up match played at the Eastleigh High School Grounds on Wednesday 26 September 2012.
Scorers
Heritier Luvualu and John Baraza scored for the 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions in the match that kicked off at 0900 hours.
Despite the lose, FISA Head Coach Charles Korea Omondi was in happy after the match saying that losing 0-2 to a team of Sofapaka’s calibre proved that his team was in good shape.
-I’m always happy when my team gets the opportunity to gauge itself against a top-tier side. We played well and even Sofapaka can attest to that, Omondi told futaa.com.

-We will now seal the looholes we identified before our next league match, he added.
FISA faces Dandora Youth FC in it’s next NPL match on Sunday 30 September 2012 at the Dandora Grounds while Sofapaka will host Oserian FC at the Nyayo National Stadium on the same day.
