The 2009 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Sofapaka have had start – stops in their league campaign in the second leg with a run that has seen them drop from top to third place in the standings but defender Felly Mulumba believes all will be fine.
The team has managed barren draws two consecutive matches, results which the Congolese born defender says were dropped points and not so good for their campaign but affirms that they haven’t given up as yet and will fight to the end.
-We still have faith that things will be better. When we prepare, as every other team, we want to win. Draws are never an option and the last two matches have been a disappointment.
Fight to the end
-Despite that, we are not giving up as yet. We will fight to the end because even our opponents can drop points. It is not over until it is done, he told futaa.com.
Felly featured full time in both the drawn matches, against Gor Mahia on Monday 13 August and against Nairobi City Stars on Saturday 18.
