Sofapaka defender John Lefty Njoroge is hoping for a swoop on all the three points in the team’s Tusker Premier League (TPL) tie against KCB scheduled for Sunday 4 November at the Nairobi City Stadium.
Sofapaka has had tumultuous times in the top flight in the second leg, managing just two wins so far but Lefty is focussed on a strong finish, aided by a win in the Sunday game so that the team can cement their hold on to fourth place.
Speaking to futaa.com, he admitted the team is well prepared for the challenge posed by the Bankers, who he said are never an easy side to face at any moment.
-We are ready; the preparations have been good despite the ups and downs concerning the coach’s departure. KCB is a tough side to play at any point of the season but I think we are ready for them and we will be going for a win.
-We want to finish strongly and that implies that we get good results in the two remaining matches, he said.
Sofapaka will be without key midfielder Humphrey Mieno in the encounter. Mieno got his fifth caution of the season in the last match, against SoNy Sugar.
