After losing eight back-to-back matches, Mathare Youth picked themselves up to settle for  a 1-1 draw against Ligi Ndogo in their Friday 1 June meeting.

In the match, played at the City Stadium, the visitors shot up early in the match, through a 12^th minute Vincent Okoth strike, assisted by Captain Sammy Machio.

Mathare equalized two minutes to the half-time break, through Peter Kinyanjui.

Standings

At the end of the day, Ligi are ranked third in the Eastern Zone of Kenya’s Division One, while Mathare are placed last.
