Six of the best for Girls Premier

The FKF Girls Premier League is set to continue at the weekend with a total of six games lined up; four on Saturday 18 August and another two for Sunday 19 August 2012.

To jumpstart the weekend will be second placed Moyas Ladies who face off with Kisumu’s Galacticos Youth from 1000hrs at the Langat Prisons on Saturday.

Heading into that game, Moyas Ladies has 39 points after 15 rounds of play with the ninth placed Galacticos with 13 points from 17 games.

From 1500hrs, three other ties will take place. Fifth placed Thika Queens will host 12th placed Sotik Super Stars at the BAT grounds in Thika as league leaders Matuu FC takes on seventh placed Kisii United in Matuu.  

Jericho Lower

Mombasa’s Spedag, placed sixth, will host Butere’s Western Commando at Makande Primary School.

On Sunday tenth placed Makolanders will face off with third placed Old is Gold at Jericho Lower grounds from 100hrs as Matuu hosts Sotik Super Stars at 1500hrs to conclude the weekend agenda.

For a second straight weekend, fourth placed Mathare United who have played 17 games will not be active, same as 11th placed Kamaliza Eaglets
