Simiyu: AFC is a tough team

Simiyu

Ulinzi Stars Coach Sammy Simiyu says he expects his side to face a tough match against AFC Leopards in a Tusker Premier League encounter, on Saturday 20 October, at Mumias Sports Complex.

Having lost the first leg fixture, the former Kenyan international has emphasized that he expects the Soldiers to perform well.

Grueling clash

-It’s a crucial game, but I believe with the good preparations and strategy we have, we will register positive results.

-We respect our opponents (AFC), they are one of the best teams in the country and to play against such a team you must be mentally and physically strong.

-They are doing very well in the league and we expect a difficult game, but I think we are well equipped to cope with it, said Simiyu to futaa.com.

Ulinzi are ranked fourth on the pile, five points below third placed Leopards.
