Tanzania’s former champions Simba SC have fired the first salvo at their arch rivals Yanga ahead of the much awaited Tanzanian derby on Wednesday 3rd October 2012.

Speaking to thecitizen.co.tz, Msimbazi Street Boys vice chair Godfrey Kaburu Nyange promised to pile more misery on Yanga’s current tribulations after a poor start to the season.

On form Simba

- We have nothing to fear Yanga since we want to repeat the same feat that saw us beat them by 5-0 last season. You can see how they started the league poorly and now they have started firing even the technical bench.

- Our team is preparing well in Zanzibar and we have no worries at all ahead of the big derby as we know we are on top of things ahead of the derby.

Kaburu warned that his players are well motivated ahead of the match warning Yanga that they would have a rough time on Wednesday at the National Stadium Dar es Salaam.
