Tanzania Vodacom Premier League defending champions Simba SC has been reported to the Confederation of African Football [CAF].

Former coach Moses Basena is demanding a compensation of up to $72,000 [KShs 5,760,000] after the mainland champions terminated his two-year contract in its seventh month last year.

Diligent work

The coach now wants to be paid his dues since he believes he offered his services diligently to the Msimbazi Street Boys for the period he was coach.

In an interview with thecitizen.co.tz, the now Uganda Express coach assured that he only wanted his compensation and has no other interests.

-I have no problem with the termination of my contract since I do not own the club, they make the decisions.

-They have no option but to pay my dues. I have lodged an appeal to CAF, he confirmed.

Basena lost his job after Simba’s narrow loss to bitter rivals Young Africans [YANGA] last year.
