Tanzanian mainland Cchampions Simba SC Coach Circovic Milovan is not yet satisfied with Kenyan international Pascal Ochieng and two other new signings capabilities after the Tuesday 11 September comeback win over Azam in the 2012/13 season’s curtain raising Community Shield.
Work harder
Pascal, Komabil Keita and Daniel Akuffor had a torrid debut, as Simba went down 2 – 0 to the team which eliminated them from the CECAFA Kagame Cup two months ago before recovering to win the tie 3-2. The Serbian Coach says the players have to work seriously hard to win places in his team.
Pascal Ochieng had to be substituted in the second half and was booed off, much to the chagrin of the coach.
More time to gel
- They are very good players, but they did not have a good game against Azam. It is too early to write them off because I think they need more time to gel. I am confident that they will get better with time, he told thecitizen.co.tz.
-(In future) I expect them to seriously work hard if they are to guarantee their starting places. I am spoilt for choice in their positions, so it will take them hard work to start every match.
Pascal moved to Simba from AFC Leopards who let him go even without the defender featuring in a single competitive game.
