Leopards had taken a strong squad to the tourist town for the friendly and the nature of the team played by coach Jan Koops frustrated the home side's efforts to win the match.
Simba, were using the match as part of their 50 year jubilee celebrations whilst preparing for the Tanzanian Charity shield match with Yanga next weekend.
They played a good side, resembling their CECAFA Kagame cup final team but hit a barrier in Leopards, who kept their tactical shape and discipline throughout.
