Sigh of relief for Gor as Makori resume training

Dan Makori is a happy man after resuming training on Tuesday 7 February from injury sustained prior to Gor Mahia’s DSTV Super Cup match against Tusker FC last Sunday.

The speedy winger returned from a hamstring injury suffered in training session while in Naivasha, where the team had camped.

Makori a teacher by profession confesses missing the Kenyan Premier League precursor match was testing and he’s hopeful to rediscover his best form before the weekend trip to Thika United FC.

-I am happy to be back after being ruled fit by the physician. I started training yesterday (Tue 7 Feb) and I’m optimistic I will make the Thika trip in our 2012 KPL opening match, Makori told futaa.com.

-Missing such a big match against Tusker was sad to me but thank God I’m now back and I’m just biding time, working onto my fitness ahead of the tough assignments and steer my team to good performance, he added.
