Football Kenya Federation Vice Chair Sammy Sholei believes the eight nation invitational tournament in South Africa, will give the National Under 20 players more exposure and playing opportunities.
Speaking before departure for Cape Town, on Monday 21 May, Sholei who’s the head of delegation, urged the boys to play their hearts out and impress the scouts in the tournament.
-The tournament has attracted scouts from all over the world and it will be a show case for the players to exhibit their skills.
-With live coverage of the games on Supersport this is a unique opportunity for our future stars.
-It is a two week tournament and the boys will learn a lot, said Sholei.
Kenya are in Pool 'B' along side Brazil, Japan and Cameroon. The tournament will kick-off on Wednesday 23 May.
