Division One side Kariobangi Sharks were
the better side Saturday morning seeing off their league counterparts Magongo
Rangers FC 2-0 in an encounter played at the City Stadium.
First half assault
The second placed Sharks opened the scoring early in the first half courtesy of a Samuel Muringu shot in the 11th minute.
It took another 17 minutes for the attacking Sharks to score a second through Samuel Thuku and seal the win and secure the three points.
This result leaves them second with 52 points eight behind leaders Bandari. Magongo are placed 13th on the standings.
