After handing Mount Kenya United a 2-1 hiding on Sunday 15 September, Division One side Kariobangi Sharks is targeting doing well in the remaining fixtures to avoid relegation.
The team is sixth in the 12-team
Division One Zone A Group 2 log with 19 points from 15 matches and therefore
not in the safe zone as the seven bottom teams will be dropped at season-end.
-The team is now good getting back to where it was. We have always been a good team - we were just going through a bad patch, Nick Mwendwa, the team’s CEO said after beating Mount Kenya,
-But we are eight points away in the relegation fight and that is what we are working on, he added.
Sharks will face Jericho AllStars on Sunday 29 September in their next league assignment.
