Sharks decry set- piece curse

Kariobangi Sharks
Kariobangi Sharks were shot down by poor set-piece defending over the weekend, head coach Bernard Ndolo.

The former FKF Division one Zone A leaders have fallen off the pace badly in recent weeks and are now seventh in the standings, a far cry from the top spot they ruled for months.

Over the weekend, they lost 3-1 to Ligi Ndogo in league action, their fourth in a row, one which Ndolo blamed on set-piece failure.

Set-pieces

- We lost to the better team on the day. They attacked us from the opening minutes and scored the most goals.

- I thought the game was balanced but we lost because we did not defend set-pieces well. They scored goals from set-plays and in the end, we could not bounce back, he told Futaa.com.

Sharks are seventh in the division one standings.
