In Zone B Mombasa Polytechnic has opened an 12 point unassailable lead over second placed Kingston Voi. Polytechnic uncorked champagne after crushing Civicon last Saturday 13/10/2012 at Polytechnic ground to increase their points tally to 45 points.

Four teams
from Zone A and four teams from zone B will play mini league in November to determine the winner of the 2012 South Coast Provincial League who
will later play against their North Coast branch counterpart.
The overall winner will participate in play off with winners of Nairobi, Eastern, Central provinces to produce two teams to join the nationwide Division One Zone A League next season
