Shabana pip Outgrowers, still need help

Kisii-based side Shabana FC were on the mark in their Sunday 9 September match, beating Outgrowers 1-0.

The goal, a 60th minute penalty, was netted by Christopher Machuka.

After the match, Shabana’s Team Manager Fred Onundu said that he was happy with the win, and also went ahead to place an appeal to well-wishers to come out and support the team.

-We are really struggling to take care of our bills and if anyone can help us, we can perform even better, Onundu told Futaa.com.

Standings

After the match, Shabana are ranked ninth in the Western Zone of the Division One, Kenya’s second tier league.
