On Saturday 27 October 2012, the financially struggling side handed West Kenya Sugar three free points for failing to appear at the Bukhungu Stadium for a 1500hrs local time kick off.

On Sunday 28, the team also failed to show up for a 1000hrs local time kick off at the same venue for a game against league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.

The hosts were at the pitch on time after the mandatory waiting time was awarded a walkover as Shabana was a no show.

84 points mark

With three added points, Homeboyz has now hit the 84 point mark from 35 games to open up an eight point lead atop Zone B over second placed Finlay Horticulture.

Shabana is currently placed 14^th with 38 points from 33 games.
