World Cup winning coach [Brazil, 2002] and former Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has been fired by former Brazillian champions Palmeiras.
Poor results
The club confirmed Thursday that they had terminated his contract under mutual consent after a dip in form by the club in the recent past.
According to mtnfootball.com, Luiz Felipe Scolari suffered a dry spell with Chelsea in the English Premier League in 2009 before facing their wrath and heading to Bunyodkor in Kazakhstan.
Palmeiras despite winning the league cup earlier this year slumped in form and have won five times in their last 24 matches leading to Scolari’s sacking.
The 63-old led Portugal to the Euro 2004 finals and to the world cup semifinal exit two years later.
