Wednesday's top of the table clash between Azam and Coastal Union in Tanzania ended in an embarrasing 4-1 defeat for Union. 

Gaudence Mwaikimba opened the score charts with his first goal for the club since his signing last season in the 22nd minute.

Points assured

Kipre Tchetche stretched the host's lead in the 36th minute before Khamis Msa closed the first half in style with a last minute goal.

Kenyan International midfielder Jerry Santo netted a thriller in the dying minutes of the match but the hosts were already assured of three points.

Msa added the fourth goal for Azam to send the team to third on the standing with a game still pending.
