Salim thankful for new role

Salim Ali has been officially unveiled as the Ulinzi Stars coach and has thanked all that have given him a chance to take over the lead role at the club.

Ali was named the Stars coach on Christmas day 2012 and will lead the club through what they hope will be a successful 2013 season, one which he is confident will work out for the club.

Newcomer

- I thank God and the club management for appointing me as Ulinzi coach and the fact that they have appointed outside their community.

- I will respect my work and hope to bring the best from the players, he said at a ceremony to reward the best players from the 2012 season in Nakuru.

Sixth

Ulinzi finished the 2012 Tusker Premier League sixth on the log.
