Salim Ali: Two more weeks out for Innocent Mutiso

Mathare Fc
Mathare United Coach Salim Ali has announced that striker Innocent Mutiso will be out for two more weeks.

Former Kenya U23 player Mutiso, has not featured for the Slum Boys in the last fortnight, missing their last Kenyan Premier League match at Karuturi Sports on Sunday 18 September 2011.

According to Ali, speaking before the KPL clash with Congo United set for Wednesday 28 September 2011, Mutiso will be out for a further fortnight.

- Mutiso will be unavailable for the Congo United game. He needs to rest and will thus miss the next two weeks. As for the Congo game, it is a blow, but we have cover in his position, he told Futaa.com.

No Kimani action

Captain Anthony Kimani will also miss the game due to a hamstring injury but Ali is more optimistic about his recovery.

- Kimani won't play for us. He is even with the national team as we have decided to leave him under their care, considering they highly require his services. I hear he is doing well, so I wish him the best, he added.

Mathare host Congo at the Nyayo national Stadium in a match that kicks off at 1730 Hrs local time.
