Kenyan Premier League (KPL) newcomers Oserian FC’s ship has reportedly been dealt a blow with the resignation of their team manager Patrick Mugun and coach Sammy Otinga who guided the side to promotion last year.

Unconfirmed reports

The Naivasha side had a difficult first leg of the Kenyan Premier League, finishing in bottom place with just ten points after 15 matches and unconfirmed reports suggest that the two have chosen to part ways with the club.

Attempts by futaa.com to reach the coach for a confirmation were futile though the team manager said he has not resigned but is contemplating just that.

Other commitments

-I am still at the club, I have not resigned but I might think about it soon because I have a lot of other commitments with my job; I have a life away from football; football is just a part time thing. If I decide I’ll let it be known.

Asked about the reports on the coach’s case he admitted not have spoken with him lately.

-I don’t know if he (Otinga) has resigned, I am just hearing it for the first time. I have not spoken to him for sometime so for sure I don’t know about it, he added.
