It was a disastrous day for Division One [Zone B] side Outgrowers as they went down 6-1 in the hands of weekend hosts Nzoia United at the latter’s grounds.

The match was an explosive one as the hosts opened the scoring early in the match through Kevin Butala in the fifth minute.

Vincent Juma then added his name to the score sheet ten minutes later with a clean volley before Valen Sem, netted the first of his brace in the 20^th minute to complete the first half rout.

Second half

Andrew Murambi ensured a perfect start to the second half of the match as he pushed the hosts four goals clear in the 55^th minute.

Outgrowers were however handed a chance to pull one back in the 60^th minute through a penalty but Valen Semi completed his brace three minutes later.

Elish Juma then completed the six goal thriller in the 80^th minute to leave them fourth on the standings with their opponents entangled in relegation.
