Refs call for KFRA’s revival

A section of Kenyan referees have called for the arousal of their body Kenya Football Referees Association [KFRA] after a period of redundancy in the recent past.

According to the referees, this body is crucial in ensuring that matters concerning them are treated with the respect they deserve and promptly.

In a statement to futaa.com, the referees are also calling for the change of its leadership saying the chairman [GMT] lead to its near collapse after falling out with the National Football Governing Body FKF.

Revive the body

-We the Kenya Referees needs KFRA back with or without GMT. KFRA got in the bad books of FKF just because its Chairman (GMT) disagreed with the Federation.

The referees are also blaming the federation for frustrating the entire body simply because of the chairman’s disagreements with them on issues.

-However such a body like KFRA which was supposed to be a Professional body of all qualified Referees is being killed slowly by the Federation it is working for.

Among the issues the referee want addressed are their pending dues from first leg Division One matches and an even allocation of matches.
