Rangers, Sofapaka as at half time

Rangers players

Rangers will be seeking to change their tactics after their opponents Sofapaka managed to contain them in their own half for the entire of the first half.

Sofapaka proved the superior side as they forced Rangers into conceding seven corner kicks with one turning out to be disastrous for Rangers.

Victor Omondi was forced into an own goal from an Osborne Monday freekick in the 28th minute to leave the hosts trailing after the ball deflected from his body into the net.

Rangers have however largely managed to contain the 2009 champions despite having one shot on target through Michael Kamandi and a corner by Kataka.

Sofapaka seem determined to register a better winning margin and an explosive second half is expected at the City Stadium
