Rangers FC came from behind to
hold Mathare United 1-1 in a Kenyan Premier League game played at the Nyayo
National Stadium on Friday 20 July 2012.

The game that kicks off from 1900hrs and aired live by Super Sport Channel 9 saw Mathare take the lead at the stroke of half time when Jesse Were scored from the penalty spot.
Rangers, dominated for possession in the first half slowly got back into the game in the second half.
A floated free kick from the right got into the box and the on loan Baldwin Ngwa headed a bounce off from a Mathare player to the far post past the reach of Martin Musalia.

The game remained even at 1-1 to the very end.
Despite the draw, hosts Rangers remain bottom of the 16-team log with 12 points from 18 games as Matahre United retained position 13 though up one to 17 points.
