Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has been banned from training with the first team and handed a warning over reporting to training late and his general demeanour at the Tyneside club.
The player has been persistently late for the past two months, a factor that has left his manager Alan Pardew fuming, and speaking to mtnfootball.com, Pardew said the player will have to report to training with the reserves in time for six weeks before he can get a chance with the first team.
Six weeks
-This guy is late so often, it is unbelievable. He's still at this football club and we're still trying to do something with him. But he will still not get back in the team unless he has a period of six weeks where he isn't late. I don't think it is going to happen, Pardew said.
Newcastle had placed the 21 year old available for a loan acquisition but the negitaions with Sheffield Wednesday fell through over his personal terms. He still has four years to run on his contract with Newcastle.
