Danish 1st division team Randers FC take on rivals Horsens Fc on 8th May 2011 in their Superligan title race at the Essex Park Randers. This will be game number 29 for the club whose rating has dwindled for the better part of the season.
Randers currently lies in the second last position with 29 points four points above bottom placed Esbjerg FC . They have not won a single of their last five matches and have in fact lost in three of those and drawn in the rest two.
Blackberry’s move
The team signed last season’s Kenya Premier League player of the year George Blackberry Odhiambo on a four and a half year contract. The flamboyant forward moved from runners up Gor Mahia after helping them to a podium finish in the season.
Blackberry has however not featured in any game since joining the club in January and has only appeared on the substitute’s bench four times. He was however instrumental in the team that beat The Black Antelopes of Angola 2-1 in the AFCON qualifiers here in Nairobi.
The lethal striker has also been named in the 32 man provisional squad named by Harambee Stars head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno on Friday 6th May 2011.
