Queiroz: “Messi and Ronaldo are exact opposites”

Former Real Madrid and South Africa Coach Carlos Queiroz has made his thoughts known on two players Cristiano Ronald and Lionel Messi as well as the clubs they play for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Speaking to fifa.com, Queiroz states the two players are opposites and their teams as the best you will find around 

-As a coach, you don't want to come up against them, but that doesn't stop you feeling treated every time you see them.

Barcelona have great players

On the two clubs, this is what he had to say;

-They're two radically different entities. Barcelona have great players like [Lionel] Messi, Xavi [Hernandez] and [Andres] Iniesta, who've allowed them to collect a lot of titles in the last few years – and in style too.

-Once Real rediscovered their identity, though, they were able to dominate Barcelona, thanks also to excellent players. I think they're the best two teams around at the moment.

Coach of Iran

After Coaching Real Madrid from 2003 – 2004, Queiroz returned to Manchester United where he was the assistant to Alex Fergusson from 2004 – 2008 before he became the head Coach for Portugal from 2008-2010.

From 2011 to date, Queiroz is the head Coach of Iran.
