Pumwani United look forward to next season

Pumwani United finished top in the Football Kenya Federation Zone (FKF)-Nairobi County League with 43 points thereby earning promotion to the Nairobi Provincial League.

Head Coach Owen Cassidy, speaking to futaa.com, thanked his players saying they played their hearts out in the entire season.

-The players showed character throughout the whole season and I’d like to thank them for that. We finally did it and we are now looking forward to doing even better in the Provincial League next season, he said.

Cassidy also revealed that the team will start training next week in preparation of next season.

-We had given the players one-week off and we will resume training next week on Monday 15 October 2012 ahead of the new season, he said.
