One week after South Coast Provincial Zone A leaders Shanzu United were held to a barren draw by hosts SS Assad, another showdown looms at Mzimuni.

Lock horns

A battle of titanic proportion awaits us this Sunday 23 September 2012.

Spectators are already warning of an Armageddon as two powerhouses, second placed West Ham from Mombasa lock horns with third placed SS Assad from Ukunda.

Both teams have 31 points but West Ham has a superior goal difference and a game in hand.

Devastating attacking line up

This affair will also provide a battle of wits between two high profile strikers, Jabir Yusuf of West Ham and Musa Tumaini of SS Assad.

Tumaini is the second best scorer with 13 goals, three more than Jabir and two less than Nicodemus Odipo of Mombasa Polytechnic who occupies the podium.

West Ham has a devastating attacking line up of Jabir and Muhiddin Abbas, the hat-trick hero of their 4-0 win over Veczular.

West Ham Chairman Omar Mzaham exuded confidence that they will win the match.

Collect maximum points

Mzimuni has been a bad hunting ground for visiting teams. The invincible SS Assad have never lost a match at home.

-We know SS Assad will be enjoying home ground advantage but my boys are well drilled for the battle ahead. We hope to collect maximum points’ pointed out Mzaham.
