AFC Leopards midfielder Edward Seda is hopeful of getting more playing time in the den after making his season debut as a substitute during their Sunday’s (Apr 8) 6-2 win over Rangers, at Mumias Sports Complex.
The youngster might have played for just less than 20 minutes after replacing midfield supremo Salim Kinje, but he is very happy with his official debut in the white and blue colours.
More playing time
Now the former Kakamega High student is ready to fight hard to get a position in the competitive Jan Koops side.
-I was very excited to make a debut and end up with such an excellent result.
-It’s long time since I got a chance, even though I didn’t give out my best I’m still hoping for more playing time, Seda told futaa.com.
Seda will have to battle it out with the likes of Kinje, Bernard Mang’oli, Charles Okwemba, Abraham Cookie and Martin Imbalambala for a starting position in the midfield.
