Thika United coach John Kamau is happy with the positive start to the season by goalkeeper Joel Bataro and has backed him to do big things for the club in the season.
With regular first choice Lucas Indeche at fault for their loss to Sofapaka on the opening day of the season, Bataro was picked for the win over the Nairobi City Stars where he shone and Kamau, hopes that he continues in the same vein.
Best
- I was happy for Joel Bataro and his performance at City Stars which more or less won us the game on that day. he showed a strong personality which is what we want at this club.
- We will obviously need all our keepers in good shape for the long season and to see Him do so well makes me happy, Kamau told Futaa.com.
