The award winning former Tusker coach and Kenyan international defender Sammy Pamzo Omollo has cleared the air over his new role at the Naivasha based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Oserian FC.
The reigning KPL coach of the year took up a new role at Oserian on Monday 20 August and has since confirmed that he will be coaching the team together with Peter Ogutu who will be his assistant.
Pamzo parted ways with Tusker on Wednesday 15 August following a lean spell and has confirmed his first real ambition is to see that the team survives relegation.
-I will be working hand in hand with Ogutu who will be my assistant with the biggest ambition being to keep the team in the league next season, thereafter we will make long term plans. I take this as a good challenge and I know I am up to the task, he told futaa.com.
Oserian is placed bottom on the 16 team log with 16 points, four adrift of 15th placed Rangers who are tied with Muhoroni on points.
