The Oserian FC management took on Nation Media Group (NMG) in a friendly match at the Oserian Stadium on Sunday 7 October an encounter that ended in a 2 – 2 draw.
Pamzo opener
Former Kenyan international defender Sammy Pamzo Omollo scored the opener for Oserian after 20 minutes. Pamzo, the reigning league coach of the year, beat John Ashiundu in the NMG goal after a fine pass from Alloys Baraza.
Oserian then doubled their advantage fifteen minutes later through Boniface Kashina. The assist for the goal came from Maurice Tuta who did well to control in the box after a Timothy Wambua free kick.
NMG comeback
NMG saved their finest show for the second period; Sammy Kitula raced well to pick a pass from Collins Nabiswa and fired past Benedict Wafula for their first goal just two minutes after the restart but they had to wait for about 40 minutes for the equaliser.
Gisesa Nyambega got it in the 80th minute after a fine interchange of passes with Dennis Okeyo.
