Ovono retires

Re-launch

This comes after dependable team skipper Didier Ovono, a keeper, called it a day from the international front on Tuesday 30 October 2012.

In June, Ovono’s three year contract with French Ligue 2 side Le Mans ended and he is still in search of the his next club.

- I need to re-launch my club career. I need to secure a new club and a new contract to strengthen my professional career.

53 caps

Prior to joining Le Mans, Ovono spent two seasons with Georgian giants Dinamo Tbilisi.

Ovono has 53 caps for the Panthers, the first cap beiing back in 2003.
