Otieno’s strike melts Iron Strikers

For the tenth time this season, Iron Strikers dropped a Division One Zone A tie after going 0-1 to Congo JMJ on Sunday 8 July 2012.

Ninth and 15^th positions

The decider in the game played at the Corporative University in Karen from 1500hrs came from regular Congo JMJ United striker Timothy Otieno who converted a penalty nine minutes after the hour mark to earn his team all three available points.

After the game, both Congo and Iron Strikers maintained their ninth and 15^th positions on the 20-team Division One Zone A log.

Congo moves up to 30 points as Iron Strikers remains on 22 points – both have played 20 games.
