Osiako: Harambee Stars has a great future

Patrick Osiako
Israel-based Kenyan International midfielder Patrick Armando Osiako has urged the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to organize more friendly matches for the National team saying that would make the team stronger.

Future

-We have a very good team and I love the fact that most of the players are young. FKF should organize more friendly matches so that the team gels well. This team is good and will go far if the right structures are put in place, Osiako told futaa.com.

Osiako also said he enjoyed his time under new coach, Henri Michel, saying the Frenchman was very friendly to the players and that gave them confidence.

-It will always be a pleasure to play for my country. I particularly enjoyed it very much this time. The coach was free with everyone and that made us feel at ease. I look forward to working with the team in future assignments, he added.

Career

The former Coast Stars and Tusker FC midfielder moved to Israeli-side Hapoel Be’er Sheva on a two-year deal after his contract with Romanian top-tier side Petrolul Ploiesti came to a close at the end of June 2012.
