Kenyan International midfielder Patrick Armando Osiako might not be part of Harambee Stars squad to face Bafana Bafana in an international build up match on Tuesday 16 October 2012 at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Request
Hapoel Be’er Sheva, the Israeli top-tier side that Osiako features for, is yet to receive an official request to release the player from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
Confirming the news to futaa.com, Osiako said he was supposed to travel on Tuesday 9 October 2012 but the club could not release him without first getting the request letter from FKF.
-The federation is yet to send the letter to my club. So at the moment I’m not sure if I’ll come or not. I intended to travel yesterday but couldn’t without permission from the club, Osiako told futaa.com.
-I really want to play for my country in this game and I hope the issue will be solved so that I can join camp in good time, he added.
Career
The former Tusker FC and Coast Stars midfielder signed a two-year deal with Hapoel Be’er Sheva this August after his contract with Romanian top-tier side Petrolul Ploiesti came to a close at the end of June 2012.
