Former Mjällby player Patrick Osiako has taken his club-searching exploits to Russia, after talks with Swedish second tier side Kristianstad FF failed to sail through.
His agent Innocent Okeke decided to direct his focus to Russia, after little success in Scandinavia, because it is the only other region in Europe with an open transfer window.
-Clubs in Russia need midfielders and we are optimistic that something will come up, Okeke told kristianstadsbladet.se.
Osiako, 26, has been clubless since he completed his contract with Mjallby on 31 October 2011.
He is currently training with Swedish Division Two side Sölvesborg.
