Oserian Ladies striker Jacinta Winfred scored a double in the Ladies Division One match pitting her side against Suba Lakers on Sunday 21 October at the Oserian Stadium to cap a fine weekend for new coach Hudson Odari.

Jacinta opened the scores in the first minute of the game after receiving a fine pass from Millicent Akinyi to beat Suba Lakers’ keeper Lillian Awuor with a wonderful volley.

Missed chances

 She should have stretched Oserian’s lead further but the impressive forward hit the post twice, first in the 57^th minute and again after 61 minutes.

Jacinta, however, managed to beat Awuor late on, in the 88^th minute for the second goal with an individual effort after weaving her way past the Suba Lakers’ defenders.
