Oserian Queens happy to be promoted

On Wednesday 13 February, Football Kenya Federation confirmed that six teams had been promoted from the Girls’ Division One league to the Premier League.

Among those who got promoted are the Oserian Queens, the ladies side of Division One side Oserian FC.

Optimism

Excited by the ascension, Oserian Queens’ Team Manager Trizah Kahiga said that they are looking forward to an impressive season.

-We are happy to have gotten promoted and we are looking forward to a great show in the 2013 season. Hopefully, we shall bag the title on our debut as well, Kahiga told Futaa.com.

Promotion

The Queens were playing in the Western Zone of the Division One, and were promoted together with league-mates Nyuki Starlets and Kakamega Muslim, and Sporting Queens, Furaha Ladies and Moving the Goal Post from the Eastern Zone.
