Naivasha based Tusker Premier League (TPL) side Oserian FC deputy coach Mr. Peter Ogutu says the team has enough depth to move on even in the absence of key defender Frankline Osama in the weekend match against SoNy Sugar.
The defender, who is also the team’s captain, was sent off early in the second half of their game against AFC Leopards and is thus suspended for the trip to the Awendo Green Stadium on Sunday 4 November but Ogutu is not so pressured.
Leadership
The coach admits that the team will miss his leadership qualities but in terms of replacement, he told futaa.com that they will find a worthy replacement from within.
-I don’t think his absence will be the headline of the game, on the contrary, it gives other players the chance to slot in though on the perspective that he is our captain, I am in no doubt that we will miss his leadership on the pitch.
Replacement
-We have a big enough squad and we will get someone from within to play in the position, that is not a big concern here, he said.
Of the players in the team available for the right back position, Humphrey Oyando could be the one to be slotted in as a replacement.
