Naivasha based Tusker Premier League (TPL) side Oserian FC succumbed to a late goal at Chemelil Sugar on Sunday 16 September to concede two points but deputy coach Peter Ogutu has vowed to move on after the disappointment.
Late equaliser
Jack Obayi had given the flowermen an early lead in the game but Jared Obwoge struck in the third minute of added time to sink Oserian hearts and the coach admits a point is just good as it helped the team rise from the bottom place.
Speaking to futaa.com, he reiterated the earlier stance that the team will survive the drop though he had reservations about the level of officiating in the game.
Build up
-A point is not too bad though three would have been better. We will take the result because at this point in the season every point matters; at least we are off the bottom place so we want to build up on it with the coming matches.
-The level of officiating was also not so desirable because we scored a good goal and it was ruled out before conceding to what I think was an offside but we can’t dwell on that. These things are part of football so we will just focus on our remaining games, he said.
Oserian will next host Ulinzi Stars in the 25th round of matches.
