Origi’s Lillestrom beat Grorud 4-2 on Thursday April 2 in a game of two halves
to proceed to the third round of the Norwagian Cupen cup.
The game ended in a two all draw in normal time forcing it to proceed to the extra time so as to get the winner.
Lillestrom took the lead in the 19th minute before adding a second one three minutes to half time to go into half time break two goals up.
In the second half however, home team came back strongly and pulled one back in the 53rd minute. They equalized in the 65th minute.
Both teams failed to find the winner in normal time forcing the match to go into extra time. Once again, Lillestrom were the first to score on the 13th minute of added time. Two minutes later, they doubled their lead through a penalty. That sealed it propelling them to the 3rd round.
Lillestrom had beaten beat Skedsmo 4-0 in the 1st round to book a date with Grorud.
Lillestrom are placed sixth in the Norwegian top tier league with 10 points from six matches, three points behind league leaders Aalesund. Having played similar number of games.
