Onyango: Nothing is won yet

Tass

Despite a stunning comeback that left Western Stima dazed at home in the Tusker Premier League (TPL) encounter at the Bukhungu Stadium, Rangers FC defender Tom Onyango says their job is still cut out as far as top flight survival is concerned.

Replicate

Rangers rallied from a two goal deficit to hand Stima their second successive home loss, a 3 – 2 win and Onyango says they will only celebrate if they replicate the result in the remaining two matches.

-There is still nothing to celebrate; at the moment we can only thank God for being with us because scoring thrice in the final minutes at the Bukhungu Stadium is not a joke. We are thankful for the win and are focussed on the next game.

Performance of their lives

-We play City Stars and Oserian in the last two fixtures and if we ever need to put in a performance of our lives, that is the moment. I hope we replicate the performance at Bukhungu...that is when we will celebrate, he told futaa.com.

The win took Rangers to 15th place on 23 points.
